We are excited to announce that Together We Can, Inc (TWC), a nonprofit, will provide tax credit documentation for all items you donated through Beleza. Click on Together We Can to learn about TWC.

Until TWC establishes its own web site, Beleza is providing them web support. TWC received official notification granting nonprofit 501(c)3 status on Monday, February 8, retroactive to September 8, 2009 when we first applied for this status. We waited for the letter to arrive to announce this because we wanted to make sure, even though we had been told we would be approved, that the approval was official. We are excited that we can now provide this tax credit for all those who donate money or items to any service outreach which TWC, Inc. supports.

The first official outreach is to Haiti, including providing medical supplies for the team of doctors and nurses Philip will accompany to Haiti on March 20.

Any donations for Haiti received by February 28, 2010, can be included in your 2009 tax preparation.

Please share this information with anyone you know who may have donated items through Beleza. We will supply documentation for all who have sent us checks or left cash. Your canceled check is also sufficient for this. If you want tax credit for these items, we would need to following information emailed to us at togetherwecaninc@yahoo.com.

We will email a signed form to you. Thank you for your monetary contributions for the medical supplies for the trip. If we receive more than we need, we assure you the money will be used to benefit the people of Haiti at this time. If you will help us with this trip, checks can be made out to Together We Can, Inc and mailed to Together We Can, 2014 Cameron Street, Raleigh, NC 27605.

Beleza is not involved in Together We Can, Inc for tax purposes. Beleza is NOT a nonprofit organization and does not receive any benefits from Together We Can contributions.
